Tamron Adaptall-2 28-70mm f/3.5-4.5 (44A)
Posted by Bengt Köhler Sandberg 2014-04-14
Made between: 1986 to 1988
Analogue B&W film
Quite a lot of plastic parts and apparently not the best build quality.
Feel and solidness is still okay.
Not too bad image quality for a zoom.
Wide open do have some purple aberration and a little glow.
But nothing too bad and sharpness sill quite nice.
Plus stop it down a little and it's nice all over.
And I find it to render quite nice with mostly good bokeh etc.
Distortion at 28mm can however be quite noticeable.
Build quality is a somewhat of a let down especially compared to the other adaptall lenses have tested so far.
But these are often find quite cheap and are still a very nice zoom lens.
So you do still get a lot of lens for your money.
Image quality (mostly stopped down)
Bokeh & Flare
Value for the money
Distortion at 28mm
